PHY 1020 - Essentials of Physics

3 credits
Requirements Met: AATR, GE, GEC
General Education Area: Group 2 Science
Prerequisite(s): MAT 0028  or MGF 1100  with a grade of C or better or score out on appropriate placement test.
A study of concepts underlying many principles of physics. Topics include mechanics of moving objects, force systems, lever systems, properties of fluids, heat, sound, light, electricity, and magnetism.
