The Graphic Design Production Credit Certificate program provides the essential skills and knowledge needed to obtain entry-level jobs in the graphic design industry. All courses are subject specific.
Program Learning Outcomes
- Students will effectively use the elements and principles of design to build an original brand.
- Students will produce digital illustrations using industry standard graphics software.
- Studens will combine images with text to create effective advertising solutions.
- Students will explain and apply the different uses of color and color theory utilized in graphic design.
To be officially considered for this program a student must:
- have a high school diploma or GED certificate,
- be 16 years of age or older,
- complete application to FGC,
- take ACT, SAT or college placement test to indicate readiness for college level work in English, reading, and math. Insufficient test scores will require a student to take the appropriate developmental education classes and The College Experience SLS 1501 .

Spring Semester: 9 Credit Hours
Fall Semester: 6 Credit Hours
