GLY 1000C - Geology with Lab 4 credits, 3 hours lecture, 3 hours lab Requirements Met: AATR, GE General Education Area: Group 2 Science Prerequisite(s): REA 0017 and ENC 0025 with a grade of C or better or ENC 0027C with a grade of C or better or score out on appropriate placement test. A study of the history and processes of the physical features of the Earth, its internal dynamics and its surficial weathering, erosion, and sedimentary processes. Laboratory component includes examination of mineral, rock, and fossil specimens, interpretation of topographic maps and aerial photographs. Selected area field trips exemplifying some common geomorphic processes may be involved.
