This 18 credit hour certificate is a college credit program that prepares a student for an entry level position in the supply chain industry. Students will learn related business and accounting practices, such as standard policies and operating procedures, negotiation techniques, planning, organizing, logistics concepts, purchasing and inventory control theory. Emphasis is placed on the development of business and managerial skills necessary for the efficient and effective performance of all operations within a company’s supply chain. To be officially accepted into this program a student must: - have a high school diploma or GED certificate,
- complete an application to FGC,
- take a placement test as prescribed by State Board of Education Rule, and
- be proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
