CJK 0290 - Correctional Cross-over to Law Enforcement Introduction and Legal

48 clock hours, 1.60 occupational credits
Course covers understanding the consequences of sexual harassment, the criminal justice system, the 4th amendment, lawful arrests, the 5th and 6th amendments, elements of crimes, concepts of evidence, affidavits, use of force, civil and criminal liability, and dealing with juveniles. Lab fee.
