HSC 0003C - Introduction to Health Professions 90 clock hours, 3 occupational credits
An introduction to healthcare professions. The course teaches the knowledge and skills necessary to prepare to work in the health care field. The student will obtain the knowledge regarding healthcare delivery systems, health occupations, legal and ethical responsibilities, along with CPR certification through the American Heart Association for Health Care Providers and knowledge of blood borne disease including AIDS. Lab fee.
