PHT 1224C - Therapeutic Techniques and Disabilities

Prerequisite(s): Admission into Phase 2 of PTA program.
Corequisite(s): PHT 1007, PHT 1175C, PHT 1200, PHT 1200L.
Required Grade: Pass with a C or better.
This course is designed to give the student foundational knowledge about the methods, types and uses of a variety of therapeutic and applied techniques utilized in the clinical setting. The course continues with management of cardiac and pulmonary conditions and specific exercise regimes for low back disorders. Lab sessions are intermixed with lecture sessions to practice various skills presented in class. Lab fee.
