MAT 1033 - Intermediate Algebra 3 credits Requirements Met: AATR Prerequisite(s): MAT 0028 with a grade of C or higher or score out on appropriate placement test. This course includes a review of linear and absolute value equations and inequalities and factoring polynomials, the study of quadratic equations and inequalities, rational exponents and their properties, radicals, complex numbers, rational expressions and equations, graphing linear functions and interpreting graphs, solving systems of linear equations and inequalities, an introduction to functions, function notation, function operations, and composite functions and applications.
