MAN 2500 - Operations Management 3 credits | Offered: Fall, Spring This course introduces students to operations management techniques including their application to functional areas of the business enterprise and operations control. Topics include the design and management of production operations, including productivity, strategy, capacity planning, location, layout, resource management, just-in-time systems, materials requirement planning, and project management. Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate the ability to make decisions and resolve problems in an operations management environment.
