MUL 2010 - Music Appreciation

College Credits: 3
Requirements Met: AATR, GE, GEC, GR
General Education Area: Group 1 Humanities
Prerequisite(s): REA 0017  and ENC 0025  with a grade of C or better or ENC 0027C  with a grade of C or better or score out on appropriate placement test.
In this course, students will survey the history of classical music from antiquity to the modern period, focusing on Western music.  The curriculum may also integrate a variety of popular and global styles where appropriate.
