This course provides the student a practicum experience at a wastewater treatment facility, water treatment facility, or environmental laboratory. It is designed to provide a practical application of the knowledge acquired in the classroom concerning water and wastewater treatment technology and laboratory analysis to actual work settings. Students earn credits based on the number of hours worked in a practicum placement approved by the instructor as follows: 150 hours - 1 credit; 300 hours -2 credits; 450 hours - 3 credits; or 600 hours - 4 credits. May be taken up to a maximum of 12 credit hours. Lab Fee: 100
