EPI 0940 - Professional Foundations: Field ExperienceCollege Credits: 1
Prerequisite(s): EPI 0945 with a grade of C or better.
This course develops a professional perspective and creates a sense of grounding in the profession of teaching. Participants will complete a 15-hour minimum field experience in public, or approved charter schools, or an approved, accredited private school. Participants must complete a fingerprint background check in the district where the teacher candidate will be completing his or her field experience. These field experiences will provide the opportunity to gain insight into the instructional process. Those participants who are teaching will be required to complete field experience in the schools where they are assigned. This is a required module in the alternative certification process as mandated by the state of Florida. Lab Fee: 40
