SLS 1101 - Student Success 3 credits Requirements Met: AATR This course is designed to develop and strengthen skills essential to success in college and whose applications can be used in post-college plans. Topics include school policy and procedures and college services and resources. Personal development skills in the area of career exploration and planning, sound financial practices and effective interpersonal relationships will be taught. Basic academic skills in note taking, test taking strategies, and study skills will be stressed. Student Success is a required corequisite of a student’s first preparatory class.
