NUR 2804C - Nursing Roles and Leadership 4 credits (2 lecture credit hours, 2 clinical credit hours) Prerequisite(s): Admission to the LPN-RN Traditional program or Registered Nursing program and NUR 2412C with a grade of C or better. Corequisite(s): HUM 2020 or PHI 2010 with a grade of C or better. This course focuses on concepts, principles, and theories of leadership, management, role development and administration in a variety of culturally diverse health care delivery systems. It is designed to develop beginning leadership skills for the associate degree nursing students that are necessary to manage clients and health care workers. Lab fee.
