MUL 1010 - Music Appreciation

3 credits
Requirements Met: AATR, GE, GEC, GR
General Education Area: Group 1 Humanities
Prerequisite(s): REA 0017  and ENC 0025  with a grade of C or better or ENC 0027C  with a grade of C or better or score out on appropriate placement test.
This course considers music within various historical, cultural, and social contexts.  Requiring no previous music experience, students will develop listening, analysis, and criticism skills to explain music as an expression of the human experience.
