EPI 0030 - Diversity in the Classroom 2 credits
Corequisite(s): EPI 0945
This module provides exposure to the variety of backgrounds and cultures found in a typical classroom. Participants will develop an understanding of how social class, religion, language, gender, ethnicity, physical differences and prejudices have an impact on how a student learns. This class meets the requirements for ESOL Domain 1: Cross Cultural Communications. This is a required module in the alternative certification process as mandated by the state of Florida and is a corequisite of EPI 0945 . Lab Fee.
