ENC 0015 - Principles of Writing I 3 credits Prerequisite(s): PERT score of 50-89 or other appropriate college entrance test score. Pre/Corequisite(s): SLS 1501 with a grade of C or better. Students who have previously passed SLS 1101 have met this requirement. This course introduces students to the modes and process of writing. It is an extensive study of sentence and paragraph structure, grammar, and punctuation. Successful completion of this course will prepare students for ENC 0025 Principles of Writing II . This course includes a mandatory one hour per week in the Collegewide Learning Lab. Lab fee.
