PAD 4351 - Environmental Policy and Management 3 credits Survey of the political and administrative nature of environmental quality. Includes the historical and contemporary context of policy development and implementation. Emphasizes factors in the decision-making process and institutions of government. Includes contemporary problems and reform issues. To fully analyze the relationship between water management, environmental conditions and public policy, examples are drawn from around the world, ranging from local watershed management to international river basin planning, highlighting integrative approaches.
