2016-2017 Academic Calendar



Web registration/add/drop and Web payment are open until midnight on the last date indicated, unless another time is shown. (College offices close at 4:30 p.m. fall and spring and 5:00 p.m. summer.)

Unless a different time is shown or the College closes early, all other deadlines, except class dates, are effective at 4:30 p.m. on the last date indicated.

NOTE: Baccalaureate admissions and program application deadlines and procedures may vary. Contact the department for information.

Note: Express terms will be offered each term. Courses are offered in a condensed format with the same content and requirements. Check the FGC web page for express term dates and deadlines, as they become available.

Fall 2016

Financial Aid Deadline: Deadline for all required documents to be received by financial aid to ensure funding of tuition and fees at the beginning of the term. Required documents include, but are not limited to, official transcripts, tax returns, and other documents required for verification, as shown on any missing information letters. Students must be registered for classes before aid can be awarded.  July 27
Admission Application Priority Deadline: Last day to submit an application for admission (new students and re-admits/former dual enrollment students) for classes which start the first week of the term. Official high school transcripts must be on file, if applicable for program selection, for the student to be admitted/re-admitted to FGC. Students applying after the priority dates listed are encouraged to meet and discuss with their advisor, options for express terms which begin later in the semester.
TRANSFER STUDENTS: All official transcripts must be received and evaluated by FGC in order to register and/or be considered for financial aid. Allow at least 3 weeks for this to be completed.
