PMT 0165C - Welding IV 180 clock hours, 6.0 occupational credits | Offered: Fall, Summer The purpose of this course is to enable the student to gain the skills needed to demonstrate intermediate ability in Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW). Gas Tungsten Arc Welding is commonly referred to as Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG). Participants in this class will first become familiar with the skills needed for brazing and soldering. Participants must also demonstrate competency with drawing and symbol interpretation as well as other welding applications. Lab fee.
