ASL 1150 - American Sign Language II

4 credits
Requirements Met: AATR
Prerequisite(s): ASL 1140  with a C or better.
This is an intermediate level class in sign vocabulary used by the deaf community. The course will emphasize the history and culture of deafness in America, and the linguistic structure and visual, conceptual vocabulary of ASL. The development of intermediate expressive and receptive conversational sign language skills will be an important class objective.
