Accounting Technology, C.C.C.

(Minimum 28 credit hours)

The Accounting Technology Certificate is designed for those students who intend to seek employment in accounting or related fields, or for those in the field wishing to acquire additional skills. Students must:

• have a high school diploma or GED certificate,
• take a placement exam as prescribed by State Board of Education Rule, and
• successfully complete any necessary preparatory classes and nine hours of the classes marked as core courses (CO) before being admitted to this program.

The following is a suggested sequence for the required courses:

All core (CO) classes must be completed with a C or better.
