EEC 3731 - Health, Nutrition and Safety of Young Children 3 credits The purpose of this course is to provide participants with knowledge of appropriate health, safety, and nutritional practices implemented in developmentally appropriate educational programs for children ages birth through eight. The course will also focus on proper emergency procedures, and the recognition and prevention of childhood diseases as well as child abuse and neglect.
