TSL 4083 - ESOL StrategiesCollege Credits: 3 This course provides exposure to the variety of backgrounds and cultures found in a typical classroom. Participants will gain knowledge of instructional strategies for teaching students of limited English proficiency. Strategies will include instruction in the English language and development of the student’s mastery of the four language skills of listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Topics addressed include differentiated instruction, assessment strategies, and accommodations. This course requires a minimum of 15 hours of field experience in a classroom setting.
