Prerequisite(s): REA 0017 and ENC 0025 with a grade of C or better or ENC 0027C with a grade of C or better or score out on appropriate placement test.
This course introduces students to the myths, rituals, history, beliefs, and practices of the world’s major religions, including Islam, Christianity, Hinduism, Buddhism, Judaism, Taoism, and others. All religions and their respective religions texts are studied from a cultural perspective and global historical context.
