PHT 2220 - Advanced Rehab Concepts in Physical TherapyCollege Credits: 3 Prerequisite(s): PHT 1801L Required Grade: Pass with a C or better This course is designed to give the student foundational knowledge about the methods, types and uses of a variety of therapeutic techniques utilized in the clinical setting to address a variety of specialty topics in physical therapy. Topics may include wound management, amputation, prosthetics and orthotics, aquatics, pelvic health, and TMJ dysfunction. A comprehensive review of the management of said topics will be provided. The student will also develop an awareness of patient needs throughout the disease process and learn to effectively select appropriate intervention techniques. Lab Fee: 190
