PHT 1217 - Physical Therapy Principles and Procedures

College Credits: 3

Prerequisite(s): Acceptance into Phase II of PTA program.
Corequisite(s): PHT 1217L .
Required Grade: Pass with a C or better
This course focuses on the knowledge and skills necessary for applying modalities used in physical therapy treatment.  Emphasis is on superficial and deep heat, cryotherapy, soft tissue manipulation, electrotherapy, light therapies, biofeedback, and traction.
