Prerequisite(s): C or higher in MAC 1105 or MAC 1140 or score out on appropriate placement test.
This course includes the study of functions; limits; continuity; derivatives of algebraic, logarithmic, and exponential functions; interpretations of the derivative; applications of the derivative to optimization, growth, decay, business, and social science problems; integrals of algebraic, exponential, and logarithmic functions; introduction to methods of integration and applications of the integral.
