CJK 0013C - Interactions in a Diverse Community 40 clock hours, 1.33 occupational credits At the end of this course the student will be able to communicate effectively, understand physical and developmental disabilities, interact with persons having mental illness, interact with suicidal persons, interact with juvenile, elderly and homeless persons, recognizing a crisis situation and the officer’s duty to respond, and recognize high risk situations.
